# 13. Billing & Subscriptions

Likemind Root is sold on a per-organization subscription. Billing is processed by Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record). All prices are listed in USD and shown per month; yearly billing is paid in one annual invoice at a discounted monthly equivalent.\*\* \*\*

## 13.1 Plan comparison

## 13.2 Monthly vs Yearly billing

* Monthly — pay each month; cancel or change plan at the end of the period.
* Yearly — pay once a year at a discounted monthly equivalent. Upgrades from a Yearly subscription are routed through the Contact Sales dialog so the team can prorate and re-issue the invoice.

## 13.3 AI Analysis Top-ups

Paid organizations can purchase AI Top-up packs from Settings → Billing. Each pack adds lifetime AI analysis credits that never expire and stack on top of the monthly plan allowance.

Top-ups are not sold on the Free plan — upgrade first to purchase. No Session Top-ups are sold.

## 13.4 Usage tracking

* AI analyses used vs effective limit (plan allowance + lifetime top-ups)
* Storage used (MB) vs plan cap
* Active team members vs seat limit
* Knowledge documents vs plan cap

## 13.5 Rollover policy

Monthly plan allowances do NOT roll over — unused AI analyses, incident slots and other monthly quotas expire at the end of the billing period. Purchased AI Top-up credits persist indefinitely.

## 13.6 Plan changes and scheduled downgrades

* Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Dodo Payments.
* Downgrades are scheduled and applied at the end of the current period; you can cancel a scheduled downgrade before it takes effect.
* Switching billing interval (monthly ↔ yearly) on a paid plan is handled in-app for monthly → yearly; yearly → other plans goes through Contact Sales.
