# 12. Knowledge Base (Owner only)

Open Knowledge Base from the user menu. This is where the AI learns about your company rules.

## Documents tab

Upload PDF or Word files such as country regulations, industry standards, brand rules, or your own procedures. Choose a category and an optional description.

Files up to 10 MB are accepted. After upload, the system processes the document. Status will show Pending → Processing → Completed (or Failed if something goes wrong).

## CAP Knowledge tab

This is built automatically from approved CAPs. You cannot add entries by hand — they appear after each CAP review. Each entry stores hazard, finding, fix, keywords, location, risk, and whether the fix was verified.

## How AI uses it

During analysis, the AI searches the Knowledge Base for matching content. Matching items appear in the result as \[Per: ...] or \[Per CAP Knowledge: ...] badges.
