12.1 Documents Tab

Upload reference documents such as:
  • Country regulations
  • Industry standards
  • Brand-specific guidelines
  • Company internal procedures
Each document requires:
  • File — The document file (PDF, DOCX, etc.)
  • Category — Country, Industry, Brand, or Company
  • Description (optional)
After upload, the document is processed by AI into searchable chunks. Processing status is displayed:
  • Pending — Queued for processing
  • Processing — Being analyzed
  • Completed — Ready for use (shows chunk count)
  • Failed — Processing error (error message displayed)

12.2 CAP Knowledge Tab

Automatically populated from approved CAP findings. Each entry contains:
  • Hazard category
  • Finding summary
  • Resolution summary
  • Keywords
  • Location
  • Risk level
  • Whether resolution was verified
CAP Knowledge entries cannot be manually created — they are auto-extracted when a CAP is approved through the review process.

12.3 How Knowledge Is Used

When AI analyzes a checkpoint:
  1. It searches the Knowledge Base for relevant documents and past CAP resolutions
  2. Matching content is included in the analysis context
  3. Citations appear as [Per: …] or [Per CAP Knowledge: …] badges in the AI output
