9.1 Text Evidence

Add text observations, witness statements, or investigation notes:
  1. In the Evidence pane, click “Add Evidence”
  2. Enter the text
  3. Optionally attach one or more photos
  4. Click “Save”
Text evidence can be:
  • Edited after creation
  • Deleted (admin permission required for some operations)
  • Translated to English using AI

9.2 Photo Evidence

Upload photos as evidence:
  • Attach to text evidence entries (grouped inline as thumbnails)
  • Add additional photos to existing text entries
  • Photos are stored in secure cloud storage
  • Click to expand in a lightbox viewer

9.3 Camera Capture (Mobile)

On mobile devices:
  1. Open an incident detail or creation form
  2. Tap the camera button
  3. The device’s native camera opens
  4. Take a photo — it’s automatically compressed and uploaded
  5. Photos appear as thumbnails in the evidence section
Features:
  • Uses rear camera by default (capture="environment")
  • Client-side image compression before upload
  • Multiple photo capture supported

9.4 Evidence Translation

For multilingual teams:
  1. Click the “Translate to English” button on any text evidence
  2. AI translates the text
  3. Both original and translated versions are displayed
  4. Original language is automatically detected

9.5 Linking Evidence to Canvas Nodes

In the Investigation Workspace:
  1. Drag an evidence item from the Evidence pane
  2. Drop it onto a node in the Logic Canvas
  3. The evidence is linked to that node
  4. Linked evidence appears as indicators on the node
